About Nancy King Smith

Nancy King Smith, now retired, served as Executive Director of the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes (1995-2005) and the Cleveland Children’s Museum (1989-1995).  She has been involved with a number of environmental/sustainability initiatives including Bioneers Cleveland, Sustainable Cleveland 2019, and Unitarian Universalist Ministry for Earth, chairing both her home church’s committee and serving on the national UUMFE Board.  A native of California, but now a proud Clevelander, she has two grown daughters and four grandchildren.
